This coming weekend, the French Fencing Federation is pleased to welcome representatives from 45 countries to participate in the Fencing World Cup in men’s foil. The World Cup will take place at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin in Paris. The event will feature 218 of the top men’s foil fencers in the world, including the World and Olympic Champions, competing in both individual and team events.

In the city of Gdansk, the Polish Fencing Federation, in cooperation with the FIE, are organising the Fencing World Cup in women’s foil, individual and team events, from 15th to 17th January. The event will be held in the Gdańsk School of foil, Gdansk. A total of 167 foil fencers from 35 countries will compete for qualification to the Olympic Games in Rio 2016.
