Korea's fencers score a hit with every weapon at London 2012

By taking the silver medal in the women's epee team event at ExCeL on Saturday, Korea became the only country to win a medal in every fencing discipline, a feat not achieved since Italy at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games.

As well as their silver, Korea won two gold medals: women's individual sabre (KIM Jiyeon) and men's team sabre; and three bronze: men's individual foil (CHOI Byungchul), men's individual epee (JUNG Jinsun) and women's team foil.

Korea had won only two medals in all previous Games.
