The mission of the “International Charity Fund for the Future of Fencing” is to facilitate the international popularization of fencing and to raise it to a higher level worldwide. It aims to create conditions that favor a successful and dynamic development of fencing on all continents. Its’ goals are in particular to

  • boost viewer interest in fencing
  • get the public at large involved in fencing, including children, students and physically challenged individuals
  • raise the organizational, methodological and material level of low-budget and newly formed fencing federations
  • to enhance the professional qualifications of referees, coaches and fencing specialists
  • to ensure the participation of talented  fencers of any national fencing federation in official tournaments of the FIE
  • to strengthen the methodological and material resources of fencing.

To reach these goals, the Charity Fund makes donations and supports the FIE in organizing international seminars and meetings.
